The Institute for Hermetic Studies was founded in 1997 to provide high quality, affordable information for the study and practice of the various traditions within Western Esotericism. This is done in an open environment where the study and application of esoteric principles may flourish.
Classes, seminars, retreats, and conferences on Hermeticism and its allied subjects of meditation, self-development, alchemy (spiritual, spagyrics, and mineral), qabala, Rosicrucianism, esoteric Freemasonry, the meaning and use of ritual, and general esotericism are the basis for the Institute’s activities. All instruction is clear, concise, and practical in nature. The Institute for Hermetic Studies is not an initiatic body and maintains no initiatic orders, degrees, societies, or secrets.
